SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
SURREY PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT NO.41

Surrey, North Dakota
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the annual election of the School Board for Surrey Public
School District No.41, will be held on June 9, 2026.
Two (2) School Board positions are up for election.
The terms of office are for 3 years.
Any qualified elector of the district who wishes to have their name placed on the ballot as a
candidate for School Board must file a Statement of Intent and a Statement of Interests
with the Business Manager of the district.
The deadline for filing is 4:00 p.m. on April 6, 2026.

Recognition of Audience (maximum 30 minutes) Citizens who wish to address the board should complete a “Recognition of Audience” form five (5) days prior to the regularly scheduled Board meeting and submit it to the Business Manager. Individuals will generally be limited to 5 minutes. Groups should select one representative to express their views. Generally, only the President will acknowledge public commentary. As this meeting is open to the public, but not a public forum, the Board will not debate issues as presented but will take such matters under advisement.
